I am a "colour-smith" at heart

Since childhood I have been fascinated by pattern and colour. I make colourful jewellery whether enamel on copper or silver, or using rivets with pieces of hand-dyed anodised aluminium. My own fused glass also features in my collections.

My creative journey

My Mum taught me to sew, draw and make something out of nothing. We had a "Doofa Cupboard" at home full of things that would "do for" making something creative - a kind of Blue Peter Paradise.

Until recently my focus was on ceramics working with porcelain and stoneware, but I now concentrate on jewellery combining my interests with traditional silver jewellery making skills too .

I have trained in jewellery making via City and Guilds Courses and at City Lit on their Emerging Maker Programme, with personal materials research and courses at Mary Ward Centre and Morley College London.

Workshops and enrolling on my courses

I teach jewellery classes in fused glass, and enamelling on copper at Rainbow Glass Studios in Stoke Newington, London,  N16 Rainbow Glass Studios
